Notice: Waste Pickup Rescheduled for Derby and Sarawak Routes
Waste Management has notified the Township of Georgian Bluffs that waste pickup for the Derby and Sarawak routes, regularly scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 11, 2025.

Township Facilities Closures
We remain under a Blizzard Warning this morning in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. A significant weather event was also declared yesterday and remains in place.

Effective 8:30 a.m. all Township facilities are closed for the day. This closure includes the Township Administration Offices in Springmount, Shallow Lake Arena and all other Township Community Centres.

Georgian Bluffs Roads Crew Tackles Early Winter Gravel Issues
Road inspections conducted this morning revealed less-than-ideal conditions in several areas. Crews have been dispatched to address the worst sections and will continue grading and repairing gravel roads as weather permits. The Township apologizes for any inconvenience, and appreciates your patience as repairs are underway.
