Milestone Certificates

Georgian Bluffs is proud to celebrate the achievements and special occasions of its residents and businesses. Milestone Certificates, signed by the Mayor, are available to recognize birthdays, anniversaries, business milestones, and graduations.


What Milestones Are Recognized?

Here are some examples of milestones we’d love to celebrate with you:

  • Birthdays: Celebrate milestone birthdays such as a 1st, 50th, 80th, 90th, or 100th birthday. Certificates are awarded in 5 year intervals and are not exclusive to the above list. 
  • Anniversaries: Mark your 1st, 5th, 10th, 25th, or other special anniversary. Certificates are awarded in 5 year intervals and are not exclusive to the above list
  • Business Milestones: From grand openings to 5-year and major anniversary or business expansion celebrations.
  • Graduations: Recognize achievements at public school, high school, or post-secondary.

How to Request a Certificate

Complete the Milestone Certificate Request Form, including:

  1. Recipient's Name(s).
  2. Milestone Achieved (e.g. 50th Birthday, 10th Anniversary, High School Graduation).
  3. For graduations: Degree or Diploma details (e.g., Bachelor of Science).
  4. Mailing Address or specify in-office pickup.
  5. Requestor’s Contact Information (if different from the recipient).
  6. Date Certificate Needed.

 


Processing Time

  • Submit requests two weeks in advance of the milestone date to ensure timely preparation.
  • If the certificate is mailed, allow an additional 5 business days for delivery.
