At Georgian Bluffs, we are dedicated to making our policies, services, programs, and facilities accessible to everyone, regardless of ability. Guided by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), we ensure accessibility standards are met throughout the Township.

Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (2024–2028)

Through adoption of this Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, the Township of Georgian Bluffs
renews its commitment to providing, to the greatest extent possible, municipal policies,
services, programs, and facilities that are accessible to residents, ratepayers, and
visitors of all abilities. The Township recognizes and confirms its commitment to the
core principles of the Province of Ontario’s accessibility legislation. The Township is required to annually report on accessibility progress:

Grey County Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee

In accordance with Ontario Regulation 191/11: Integrated Accessibility Standards, the Township participates in the Grey County Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee. The Committee provides comments to Grey County Council and participating local municipal councils, regarding accessibility-related issues
and improvements to services. At a minimum, the Committee meets on a quarterly basis. Agenda materials are available on the County of Grey's website.
