Winter Control Update: January 28, 2025

Thank you for your patience and understanding today as we worked to address the impacts of this week’s high snowfall and blowing snow. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated plow operators, who have been working hard since 2 a.m. to make our roads accessible and safe.

Current Status

• As of this afternoon, all roads with residential properties have at least one lane of access opened.
• Some sections of roads without residential properties remain closed.
• Significant snow drifts have been encountered, and additional clean-up will be required over the coming days.
• Certain roads are still narrow and only provide single-lane access, so please drive cautiously.

Ongoing Efforts

• Crews will continue working over the next few hours to address priority areas in the Township.
• Operations will resume fully at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29 to manage new snow accumulation and continue clean-up efforts.
• Municipal 511 has been updated with the latest road closures and re-openings for your reference.
