Township Appoints Niall Lobley as Chief Administrative Officer

After a thorough recruitment and selection process, the Township of Georgian Bluffs is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Niall Lobley as Chief Administrative Officer.

Mr. Lobley brings over 25 years of public service experience in Canada and the United Kingdom, including senior leadership experience with Conservation Halton, the City of Kitchener, and most recently as the Acting CAO and Director of Community and Environmental Services with the Township of Georgian Bluffs. He began with the Township in late 2022, and has been working with Council and staff on various Township initiatives. He has formal training in Environmental Science, Risk Management, and Project Management, as well as extensive experience in municipal operations, property and risk management, team leadership, and strategic planning.

"It has been a pleasure to serve the Township through its transition, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to support Council and provide leadership to the talented staff team”, said Mr. Lobley. “The Township of Georgian Bluffs has welcomed my family as new residents over the last 18-months and I look forward to continuing to work with the community over coming years."

Both Council and staff are excited to continue working with Mr. Lobley to serve the Georgian Bluffs community.
