Proposed Official Plan Update Meeting Taking Place June 5

The Township of Georgian Bluffs will hold a public meeting on June 5, 2024, at 5:00 PM in the Council Chambers to discuss proposed updates to the Official Plan. This meeting, held in accordance with Sections 17 and 26 of the Planning Act, provides an opportunity for the public to offer comments and feedback on the draft Official Plan.

The Official Plan outlines the goals, objectives, and policies for guiding land use development in Georgian Bluffs over the next 25 years. It ensures that development is managed within the context of social, economic, built, and natural environmental factors. Updates to the Official Plan are necessary to align with provincial plans and policies, and to conform with the County of Grey Official Plan.

• Oral Comments: To speak at the meeting electronically, register by contacting the Clerk at ccraig@georgianbluffs.ca or 519-376-2729 ext. 602 by June 3, 2024.
• Written Comments: Submit written comments to the Clerk by May 30, 2024. These can be mailed or emailed and will be considered prior to any approval.
