Have Your Say at the 2025 Budget Open House

Georgian Bluffs invites you to take part in shaping the community’s future by attending the 2025 Budget Open House on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The drop-in event will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Georgian Bluffs Council Chambers, 177964 Grey
Road 18.

This informal Open House offers the community an opportunity to review the 2025 draft budget, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback. Township staff from each department will be available to discuss key initiatives, answer questions, and gather community input to refine budget priorities.

The 2025 draft budget reflects the Township’s ongoing commitment to infrastructure improvements, community enhancements, and sustainable growth. Key investments include $1.5 million allocated to the Hard Top Surface Preservation Program, $5.589 million over three years for critical bridges and culverts, and $1.65 million directed toward park and recreational improvements with potential grant funding.

Public input is vital to the budget process, ensuring that investments align with residents’ needs and priorities. Feedback from the Open House will guide Council as they finalize the 2025 budget, scheduled for adoption in January of 2025.
