Half Load Restrictions in Effect Monday

Half Load restrictions are in effect on Georgian Bluffs roads as of Monday February 20, 2023 for the spring season. This restriction will be in place until May 1, 2023.

Load restrictions are in effect each year in the spring when roads are weakened by excess water, and can be damaged by heavy vehicles. To protect the roads, weight limits are in place until the roads are determined to be structurally sound. Due to recent weather conditions, restrictions are coming into effect earlier than usual.

Load restriction are weather dependent and may be extended as late as May 31, if necessary.
