Georgian Bluffs Invites Feedback on Proposed Off-Leash Dog Park

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is exploring the possibility of an off-leash dog park, and we want to hear from you! This project could provide a new outdoor play area for residents and visitors, and their furry friends.

The Township, following a proposal to Council from the Shallow Lake Village Improvement Committee, is considering building a dog park to provide a safe and fun environment for dogs to play and socialize. It would also offer a space for dog owners to meet, fostering a stronger sense of community. This new addition could enhance our recreational facilities and contribute to the well-being of our residents and their pets.

To make sure this project meets everyone’s needs, we are holding a community survey through the month of June, 2024, at www.engageGB.ca, with hardcopies available at the Township office and Community Centres. We invite everyone to share their ideas and suggestions to help shape this potential addition.

You can also join us at the 'Connect and Collaborate' event on June 18th, 2024 to share your thoughts on the dog park and other community projects. This is a chance for residents to share ideas and learn about the project’s progress.
