Dust Suppressant Program to Begin in Georgian Bluffs

Dirt Road

As of Friday July 7th, the Township of Georgian Bluffs will begin the annual dust suppressant application program on gravel roads across the community.

Applying the calcium chloride dust suppressant to gravel roads helps reduce the amount of dust generated from passing vehicles during the dry summer months. It helps improve visibility on the roadway, as well as air quality for nearby residents to enhance the overall safety of our road network. The product is also non-toxic and biodegradable, with minimal impact on the surrounding environment.

Please note that there may be temporary traffic disruptions as this work is completed. We ask that all residents drive with extra caution and reduced speeds where workers are present.
