The Township of Georgian Bluffs has declared a significant weather event due to forecasted and/or observed weather conditions.

Please use caution and allow yourself extra time to reach your destination. The significant weather event remains in effect until the event is declared to be over. Delayed Waste Collection Notice - January 4, 2025

January 04, 2025
Waste Management crews are collecting garbage today, Saturday, January 4, 2025, for residents who are on Wednesday collections delayed for the holidays. However, weather and road conditions are slowing collection and it is likely collections will not be completed today. Crews will return on Sunday, January 5, 2025, to collect any waste missed due to Saturday's inclement weather, should existing conditions improve. 
Normal Wednesday collections resume on Wednesday, January 8th.
