Council Appoints Niall Lobley as Acting CAO

Council of the Township of Georgian Bluffs has appointed Director of Community Services Niall Lobley as Acting CAO as the search for a permanent Chief Administrative Officer continues.

“I would like to thank Mr. Lobley for taking on this leadership role during our period of transition to keep the business of the Township on track,” said Mayor Sue Carleton. “Council is committed to finding the right fit for this essential role as we move our community vision forward.”

Niall Lobley has been with the Township since November of 2022 as the Director of Community Services, which includes the facilities, parks and trails, and waste management portfolios. He brings over 20 years of public sector experience to the role, with the City of Kitchener and Conservation Halton among his previous employers.
