Calling All Nominations: Georgian Bluffs Volunteer Awards Seek Exceptional Individuals

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2023 Volunteer Recognition program, inviting nominations for exceptional individuals who dedicate their time and energy to making our community flourish. The program aims to honor and celebrate the following categories: The Georgian Bluffs Community Service Award, The Georgian Bluffs Lifetime Volunteer Award, and the Youth of the Year Award. Nominations will be accepted until October 12, 2023.

Since its inception in 2021, the Volunteer Recognition program has become a cornerstone of Georgian Bluffs' commitment to acknowledging the invaluable contributions of our devoted community members. These volunteers play an integral role in creating an environment that we are all proud to call home.

Nomination forms are readily available online at www.georgianbluffs.ca/volunteer, can be conveniently downloaded in a printable format or requested at the Township Administrative Building. Community members are encouraged to put forth the names of those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and a genuine spirit of service.

Recipients of the Volunteer Awards will be celebrated during a special presentation at an upcoming Council meeting in November. This heartfelt recognition aims to showcase the Township's deep appreciation and serve as a testament to the immeasurable positive impact made by these selfless volunteers.
