Annual Street Sweeping to Begin This Week

The Township of Georgian Bluffs will begin the annual street sweeping program this week on April 24, 2023.

The work begins Monday in urban areas of the Township, and will proceed to rural roads and intersections on Tuesday. Street sweeping clears leftover sand from winter clearing, and other debris, from the road to provide a clean, safe driving surface and reduce airborne dust. This work is completed in the spring of each year following the snow melt.

For best results, we ask residents to avoid street parking and to drive with patience and caution when approaching street sweeping equipment.
