A Marvel-ous Night Under the Stars: Georgian Bluffs First Outdoor Movie Night

The Township of Georgian Bluffs is excited to host our very first outdoor movie night featuring the highly anticipated film, Guardians of the Galaxy 3. This spectacular event will take place at the Shallow Lake Arena on August 25th, 2023, starting at 7:00 PM.

As the sun sets over the scenic landscape, families and friends will gather to enjoy the thrilling adventures of Star-Lord, Rocket, Groot, and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy team in this action-packed Marvel movie. Whether you're a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or simply looking for an exhilarating movie night under the open sky, this event is for you!

The community is invited to bring their chairs, blankets, and pillows to create the ultimate cozy movie-watching experience. Or, if you prefer, get a classic drive-in experience by pulling up, tailgating or tuning in on your radio from the comfort of your seat.

"We are thrilled to bring the magic of outdoor cinema to Georgian Bluffs," says Niall Lobley, Acting CAO and Director of Community & Environmental Services. "Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is a fantastic choice for our inaugural outdoor movie night, and we can't wait to see families and friends come together for an unforgettable evening of entertainment."

This is a free event, however we are hoping to collect items for Safe and Sound, a charity that supports those experiencing homelessness in our community. We are looking for donations of new and unopened toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary products, socks and underwear.

Food and refreshments will be available on-site, ensuring a delectable treat to complement the movie experience. Designated car parking will be available for those who prefer to enjoy the movie from the comfort of their own vehicles.
