Adopt-a-Road

Help keep Georgian Bluffs clean and beautiful by joining the Adopt-A-Road Program. This volunteer program allows individuals, families, groups, and organizations to adopt a section of road and take responsibility for cleaning it up. It’s a great way to give back to the community and help the environment.

By adopting a road, you can help to:

  • Protect the Environment: Help reduce litter and keep Georgian Bluffs’ roadsides clean.
  • Show Community Pride: Be recognized for your efforts with a roadside sign featuring your name or group.
  • Volunteer in Your Community: Perfect for families, schools, local businesses, and community groups looking for a way to give back.

How to Get Involved

  1. Contact the Township: Reach out to the Township Roads Department to select a road section for adoption at 519-376-2729 ext. 303 or by email at operations@georgianbluffs.ca.

  2. Complete the Agreement: Fill out the Adopt-A-Road Agreement to get started. This agreement outlines the rules and expectations for keeping your road section clean.

  3. Sign the Release Form: Every volunteer must sign the Adopt-A-Road Release Form before participating in clean-up events.

  4. Schedule Your Clean-Up: Once your group is ready, notify the Township at least one week before the clean-up day to arrange for litter collection and equipment.
