Join My GB

Welcome to My GB! For residents, My GB can be easily linked to your address, providing you with a personalized online experience. You can customize your dashboard to include information and notifications that are most important to you, including upcoming meetings, waste collection schedules, direct notifications of service impacts, property tax data and online payment opportunities.


Getting Started with My GB

Follow these simple steps to set up your account and start enjoying a personalized online experience.

Step 1: Sign Up

1️⃣ Go to My GB
2️⃣ Click “Sign Me Up!”
3️⃣ Enter your preferred email address and complete the verification prompt.
4️⃣ Check your email for a confirmation message and follow the instructions to verify your account.

Step 2: Log In & Set Up Your Dashboard

1️⃣ Return to My GB and log in with your email and password.
2️⃣ Click “Edit Home Screen” (top right) to customize your dashboard.
3️⃣ Drag and drop widgets to organize your information.
4️⃣ Click “Save Home Screen” to apply your changes.

Step 3: Link Your Property Tax Account (Optional)

For easy access to your property tax details, link your account:
1️⃣ In My GB, go to the Property Tax Widget and click “Link Account.”
2️⃣ Enter the following information:

  • Your Property Roll Number (found on your tax bill)
  • Your Name (capitalized first and last name required as it appears on your tax bill)
  • Your Last Tax Payment Amount

3️⃣ Click “Confirm” to complete the setup.

Please note, it may take 7-10 days for payments to be processed and reflected in your portal.

💡 Tip: Your roll number always starts with 4203 and follows a pattern based on your location:

  • Keppel Township: 4203 620 XXXX XXXX
  • Sarawak Township: 4203 580 XXXX XXXX
  • Derby Township: 4203 540 XXXX XXXX

Step 4: Set Your Notifications

1️⃣ Click your profile icon (top right) and select "Account."
2️⃣ Go to “Widget Settings & Notifications.”
3️⃣ Choose which widgets you’d like to receive updates for.
4️⃣ Click “Save” to update your settings.

Step 5: Explore & Enjoy!

✔ Check your upcoming waste collection schedule.
✔ Stay updated on council meetings and service alerts.
✔ Make online payments easily.
✔ Access your property tax details in one place.

Property tax information, made available in the property tax widget in your My GB account is updated on a weekly basis, each Monday.

If you make a payment through your My GB account, the balance will not be reflected until the following Monday. 

You can change the location of widgets on your dashboard to keep the information most important to you at the top of your dashboard.

  1. Select "Edit home screen" near the top right of your dashboard.
  2. Select a widget to drag and drop it to its desired location within your dashboard.
  3. Select "Save home screen".

You can remove a widget from your dashboard if you do not wish to receive updates and view information related to that widget.

  1. Select "Edit home screen" near the top right of your dashboard.
  2. Select the "X" in the top right corner of the widget you wish to remove from your dashboard.
  3. Select "Save home screen".

Please note, some widgets are mandatory and cannot be removed.

You may reset your password from the login screen or while you are logged into My GB.

Changing your password while logged in

  1. Select your profile icon from the top right corner of your My GB dashboard.
  2. Select "Account" from the dropdown menu.
  3. While in the "Your Information" tab, select "Change password".
  4. Enter your current password along with the new password you would like to have and select the "Change password" button at the bottom of the screen.

Resetting your password

If you have forgotten your password and cannot login, you can send yourself a password reset email.

  1. From the My GB login screen, select "Forgot username or password".
  2. Enter the email address you used to sign up for My GB in the "Email address" field.
  3. After you have received a password reset email, select "Reset password" and enter your new password.

You may change your notification settings so you only get notifications from the widgets that are most important to you.

  1. Select your profile icon from the top right corner of your My GB dashboard.
  2. Select "Account" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the "Widget settings and notifications tab".
  4. From the menu of your widgets listed on the left-hand side, select the widget you would like to change the notification settings for.
  5. Beneath "Would you like notifications?", select a notification type from the dropdown menu.
  6. Select "Save" to save your changes or "Cancel" if you would not like to change your notification settings for the selected widget.
