Waterfalls

Inglis Falls Conservation Area

237785 Inglis Falls Rd, Owen Sound

This spectacular spot is one of three waterfalls in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. According to Grey Sauble Conservation Authority, Inglis Falls is the best known and most visited. Inglis Falls Conservation Area is a 200-hectare space with over 7 kilometers of trails, access to the Bruce Trail, more than 20 species of ferns and a great spot for birders. There's also a series of geological potholes and historical remains of a grist mill. Inglis Falls is an 18-metre-high cascade, created by the Sydenham River meeting the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. A deep gorge is present at the base of the falls, caused by the power of the water.
