Georgian Bluffs Rail Trail
From 3rd Ave West, Owen Sound, at 24th Street, to Bruce Road 10 at Park Head Road
This trail links Owen Sound to Highway 10, through the village of Owen Sound to the edge of the Township at Highway 10, just south of the village of Hepworth. It is built on the line of a former railway, and offers a wide (at least 3m) gravel surface along its 17km length. The gravel is loose in several places. Some sections of the trail are quite remote. The trail crosses roads at several points. It is available for multiple users - walks, cyclists, ATVs and Snowmobiles use this trail throughout the year. ATV riders must have a valid permit from the South Bruce Peninsula ATV Club and Snowmobiles must have a valid OFSC permit. The trail is managed with significant support from volunteers with both the South Bruce Peninsula ATV Club and the local OFSC Club - Stoney Keppel Riders.
