Council Meetings Are Open to the Public

Council and Committee meetings are open to everyone and live-streamed on the Township’s YouTube Channel so you can watch from home.

• Agendas are posted on the Township's website the Thursday before each meeting.
• Meetings are typically held on Wednesday evenings at 5:00 p.m., three times per month.
• Meetings take place at the Township Administration Office in Council Chambers - 177964 Grey Road 18, Owen Sound, ON. 

Participate in a Council Meeting

In accordance with Council's Procedure By-law, if you would like to speak at a Council meeting, you must register as a delegation. Delegations provide an opportunity for residents to present concerns, suggestions, or requests directly to Council.

How to Register

• To make a presentation to Council, contact the Clerks Department at 519-376-2729 ext. 603 or clerks@georgianbluffs.ca at least seven days before the meeting. 
• For items on the agenda or to make a public inquiry, register with the Clerks Department by 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting at 519-376-2729 ext. 603, by email at clerks@georgianbluffs.ca, or in person in Council Chambers before the meeting starts.
• Provide the topic you’d like to address and any supporting materials (e.g., reports, documents).

Write to Council

In 2024, Council adopted a Council Correspondence Policy to establish the procedure for handling correspondence directed to Council.

To submit correspondence to Council to be included on a Council agenda, please direct emails and letters to council@georgianbluffs.ca. Please specify in the email that the correspondence is intended for an agenda and specify which agenda you would like it included on. Items for inclusion on a Council agenda must be recieved seven days in advance of the meeting.
