Park Improvements

The Township is moving ahead with park improvements in 2025, supporting the Recreation and Trails Master Plan, Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, and community feedback.

Sarawak Family Park

Following years of improvements, 2025 will bring:

• A new, fully accessible play structure with a rubberized surface

• Expanded, natural-surface overflow parking

• Tree planting to replace ash trees

• Additional seating and landscape enhancements

Kemble Athletic Fields

A new play area is proposed, subject to successful grant funding. If funding is confirmed:

• A small play space will be added, similar to Kilsyth's

• A natural-surface parking area will be created

• Seating and landscaping will be included

Local fundraising is ongoing to support and enhance this project.

Budget and Funding

• Total Budget: $975,000

• Grant Dependent: $125,000

• Grant Applications Submitted: Up to 50% of costs
