This volunteer program allows individuals, families, groups, and organizations to adopt a section of road and take responsibility for cleaning it up.

Civic addressing and entrance permits ensure safe and efficient access to properties across Georgian Bluffs.

Georgian Bluffs offers grants of up to $2,500 every two years to help residents maintain privately managed roads within the Township.

To protect roads during the spring thaw, Georgian Bluffs enforces weight restrictions under the Highway Traffic Act.

Shoreline road allowances are strips of land, typically 66 feet wide, running inland from the high-water mark along lakes and navigable waterways. 

 No matter what the weather conditions, our top priority is to maintain driveable roads for our residents.

The Township maintains approximately 400 km of roads, including 250 km with a hard surface such as asphalt or tar and chip.

The roadside brushing program ensures safe and clear roadways by removing overhanging trees and branches, shrubs, and vegetation obstructing sightlines or maintenance equipment.
