The Township of Georgian Bluffs is looking for passionate community members to serve on the Council Remuneration Committee. This is your chance to get involved and provide your input to ensure Council members are compensated fairly and ensure attractive compensation packages for those running in the 2026 Municipal Election.
About the Opportunity
As a member of the Committee, you’ll:
- Conduct a review of Council compensation at surrounding municipalities.
- Interview current serving members of Council for feedback on the current Policy.
- Prepare and present a report to Council recommending changes to the Policy before December 31, 2025, for implementation in the 2026-2030 Council term.

Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Reside in or own property in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
- Have experience and expertise in areas such as municipal government, human resources, and or finance.
- Can attend monthly meetings, and access to a computer to participate in meetings and review meeting materials.
Meeting Details
Occurrence of meetings will be determined by the Committee but will occur during the daytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
